Simon Humble executive Chef and owner of the new concept in Melbourne dining, brings his dedication and Italian training of traditional risotto to Southgate.Simon’s reputation as Melbourne’s master risotto chef is acknowledged by receiving the silver award at the World Intercontinental Risotto competition, held in 1999 in Verona Italy. Antonio Carluccio announced him the Risotto King of Australia and he has won a multitude of competitions and awards for his cooking.The only Australian Chef privileged to cook for the Italian President’s visit to Australia in 1998.
In the same year winning a global award “Insegna Italiano Ristorante” in Rome for his committment to authentic Italian cuisine.
